Regular attendance really does matter
Regular attendance at school ensures that children get the best possible start in life. Good attendance supports learning, the development of social skills and friendships, as well as building good habits that are essential for adult life.
At St. Andrew's, we monitor attendance very carefully. If your child is absent, you will receive a phone call, email or text from the office staff, regarding your child's absence. We may also ask for evidence of any health appointments (GP, referrals, prescriptions) if your child has been off for a number of days. This is standard practice at our school.
A reminder that Persistent Absence is when your child's attendance is below 90%. Please help your child to be at school every day. Thank you.
