A message from Mrs Statham
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at school, now that the Christmas Fair has taken place! On Friday, the PTA spent the whole day transforming the school into a Christmas wonderland with Christmas trees, an enormous snow dome, festive tables and games and of course, Santa's Grotto in my room! Everyone worked so hard to have the fair ready for 3pm.
We were treated to live singing and dance performances by children and adults in the hall and the raffle stall was supported by our school governors. The highlight for many was a visit to see Santa in the grotto. A huge thank you to Santa and to the Year 6 elves for helping to make so many children and parents happy.
I would like to thank our children, staff, parents, governors and wider school community for supporting our fair. Every penny raised goes back into purchasing resources for the school. We will let our school community know how much was raised in due course - thank you all so much.
In other news, we look forward to the nativity performances in the coming weeks for YR, Y1 and Y2, as well as the Junior Carol Service led by Year 3 in the final week. The junior choir will be singing at Chase Farm hospital and Azalea Court in Bush Hill Park and Year 6 will be watching Oliver Twist at Chace Community.
